Course objectives
Financial Analysis and Plan (FAAP) The course builds on the knowledge of causal context in which the information on the company arise, following from its final accounts designed for internal and external users. It enables students to be oriented in company results, enhance their declarative ability and to be capable of interpreting them. The principal objective of the course is to teach students how to work with methods used in financial analysis, which can be utilised to analyse companys historical development, to monitor deviations from the schedule, and to predict the future development of the company. Financial analysis and planning in companies represent a vital part of the system of management. At the same time, it is important for external entities interested in obtaining information on the financial results of the company. For this reason the subject is very important in preparing the future company accountant. Credit requirements: passing two tests. Examination: oral.
