Course objectives
The course is a follow-up to the course Corporate Finance. Issues discussed in the basic course are extended both in the field of corporate resources allocation and especially, in the fields of corporate resources acquisition and dividend policy. The most important topics dealt in this course are:
- value of the company and financial aspects of integration and cessation of a firm
- time value of money
- short time asset management
- risk related to financial decision-making and prediction of company distress
- external and internal resources
- alternative financial resources
- dividend policy and dividends.
The main objectives of the course are to gain knowledge and practical skills at:
- theory of company financial management focused on business firm specifics;
- applied algorithms of financial management according to Cash Flow;
- calculations related to inventory management (fixture, insured inventory, normative inventory);
- calculations related to depreciation and evaluation of leasing suitability;

Assessment methods
The course is completed by an exam that has a written and oral form. Admission to the exam is subject to passing at least two out of three in-term tests and assessing the seminar work with the grade - passed.
