Course objectives
Contractual Relations in Finance (SVVP) The course enhances the knowledge of legal aspects of financial enterprise. It links up with the subject Law and Finance. It will build on the knowledge of basic legal principles governing activities and management of entities on the capital and financial markets and their principal instruments. It reviews the basic principles and institutes of contractual relations in finance. Specimens of business contracts will be presented, practical examples used. By its focus the course reacts to a growing number of serious breaches of law and illegal practices used in banking, in the area of joint investment and on the capital market in carrying out both standard and non-standard business operations of financial institutions. Credit requirements: active participation in seminars and written seminar paper. Examination: written and oral.
