The course is intended for participants with English level A2 (pre-intermediate).

Learning outcomes
This course is designed to help students on pre-intermediate level develop and improve every aspect of your everyday English and to help you learn real language skills for real-life situations. The course is based on the communicative method and is aimed to develop all four skills: listening comprehension, speaking, reading and writing; expand your vocabulary and practise grammar.
Teaching methods
This course is taught by CELTA programme trainees. They are learning to become great teachers of English which means they can be a bit shy at the beginning but they are all the more enthusiastic to improve :-). Their lessons are supervised by experienced CELTA tutors.
Assessment methods
Credits can be obtained for regular attendance and active participation in seminars, 2 absences are tolerated. For further conditions, see Teacher Information.

Teacher's information
In order to pass their training, our CELTA trainees need to teach a full class. So, to keep you coming back to class every week:-) the more lessons you attend the more money back you get:

If you attend 100% of the course you will get 800 CZK back - this means that the course will only cost you 800 CZK!

If you attend 85% of the course you will get 650 CZK back - this means that the course will only cost you 950 CZK. In order to be eligible to get part of your money back, you must attend lessons on the following dates: 7 April, 5 May, 2 June and 9 June.

Depending on current government measures, teaching will take place either online (ZOOM) or by contacting the K2 MU building, or as a combination of both.
