The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The aim of the course is to improve the students´ awareness of specific features of selected academic genres.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course the students will be able to apply principles of effective writing to cover letters and abstracts.
Syllabus
  • Session 1: Cover letter (exemplifications, academic vocabulary - collocations) Session 2: Abstract (verbs, active vs passive voice)
