The course is aimed at foreign Masaryk University employees and Ph.D. students at A2–B1 level The applicants who did not participate in the previous course (Intermediate 2) will take an entrance test. Please complete the entrance test on the website https://www.cjv.muni.cz/zamestnanci-mu/jazykove-kurzy. Your teacher will contact you after the deadline for registration and arrange the oral part of the test. The students who attended Intermediate 2 course in the previous semester do not need to take the entrance test. The teacher will contact you by e-mail. - Course Enrolment Limitations

- Czech for foreigners in the academic environment (programme CST, C-CV)
- Course objectives
- The course is for everyone who wants to improve his/her communicative skills in Czech. It is aimed at foreign employees who are able to use Czech in everyday situations, can express their needs, feelings and preferences, talk about topics and activities interesting for them and participate in a basic conversation.
- Learning outcomes
- The expected output will be an improvement of spoken speech, reading skills and fluency in the discussion of the content of Czech texts, grammar and vocabulary of the Czech language.

- Assessment methods
- Active participation. Ph.D. students who would like to get the credits have to pass the final test and oral exam; 70 % presence is required.

Students, who are not MU staff and Ph.D. students, will be enrolled in the course only after paying for the course at the MU business center and after approval by an authorized person when the minimum capacity of the course is met.
