Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to:
1. understand the logical structure of proposition and write the proposition in symbolic language of logic,
2. understand basic relations and operations in set.
Syllabus
  • 1. Basics of propositional and predicate calculus
  • 2. Introduction to set theory
Teaching methods (in Czech)
Řešení úloh, samostatná práce, práce ve skupině, domácí úkoly.
Assessment methods
2 written tests, at least 50 per cent of points from each test are required for a successful pass.
