Course objectives
Individual and consulted assignment of a dominant topic with great emphasis on the student's current abilities. Development of creativity. Our own seminars offer the possibility of deepening the necessary creative skills in connection with the chosen topic and the material used. In the course of the semester, there will be mandatory consultations, which will document the development of the work on the topic, or its possible transformation.
Learning outcomes
- Students will learn concepts related to their chosen medium.
- They are able to prepare a group and individual art project in the chosen medium with all its phases (idea, concept, realization, documentation, presentation).
- They are able to choose an adequate form of realisation for the expressed idea and are aware of the technical and other conditions related to its realisation.
- They are familiar with the possibilities of documentation of creation and use an adequate form of documentation to record their own creation in a given medium.
- They are able to present their project clearly, illuminate their initial idea and place the project in the context of theory and practice.
Syllabus
  • Form of individual assignment and consultation with the teacher. Emphasis on independent creative activity. The student chooses from a selection of art disciplines and specializations according to his/her own considerations and artistic abilities (painting, printmaking, drawing, computer graphics, modeling, action, new media, etc.). He/she negotiates with the selected teacher the amount of work, the theme of the project, artistic techniques, and consultation dates.

Teaching methods
The form of studio intermediate teaching will enable students to work intensively on individually assigned topics, continuously monitor the implementation of the project and, if necessary, transform it and extend it to the next stages of the study.
