Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to exercise an orientation in the basic knowledge of functioning of the economy. They acquire dispositions for better understanding of the contemporary world. They will gain insight into the nature of the basic economic concepts.

  • 11. impact of monetary and fiscal policies on AD (chapter 32)

Teaching methods
The course has a form of a lecture and a seminar. Credit requirements: 3 credit progress tests, active participation in seminars. The students have to fill self-correcting exercises in the IS during every week in the semester.
Assessment methods
The course is concluded by a written exam. The test is to be taken during the exam period. Any copying, recording or leaking tests, use of unauthorized tools, aids and communication devices, or other disruptions of objectivity of exams (credit tests) will be considered non-compliance with the conditions for course completion as well as a severe violation of the study rules. Consequently, the teacher will finish the exam (credit test) by awarding grade "F" in the Information System, and the Dean will initiate disciplinary proceedings that may result in study termination.
