Course objectives
The course is focused on public support of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). It presents specifics of Czech business environment, general motives for enterprise support and guides and conceptual documents from which the support result. It also presents forms, instruments, programmes and institutions supporting enterprises. The main accent is put on support at regional level (regional programmes, innovation centres, clusters and so on), nevertheless due to integrated understanding is also dealt with support at national and European level. The attention is also paid to preparing of application of support. After attending this course students should be able to adapt on changes in this area, should be able to recommend suitable support for concrete firm in concrete situation and should know the basic procedures during support applying.
