Teaching methods
There are three lectures (each four hours) given during semester. Lectures are focused on explanation of the main topics of crisis managament. Self-study is emphasised then. Students have an opportunity to evaluate their knowledge in self-correcting on-line tests.
Assessment methods
The course employs continuous assessment of students using the grades of seminar papers as “passed” (weight of 20%) - “failed” and self-correction tests with the grading scale A-F, at least 60 points out of 100 (weight of 80%). The written exam is graded as follows: A 91-100% B 84 – 90 % C 76 – 83 % D 68 – 75 % E 60 – 67 % F less than 60 %.
Important information! If students commit a prohibited act, such as using various forbidden tools, cribbing, taking out any part of the exam or any other cheating, the teacher is allowed to interrupt an exam and to grade a student with F, FF or FFF according to the seriousness of the offence. The mentioned procedure relates to all the activities that are included in the final evaluation of the course (seminar work, essays, tests etc.).
