Course objectives
Macroeconomic Analysis (PMMAAN) The content of the course is the methodology of macroeconomic analysis, work with empricical data and their evaluation. The center of the course is to develop basic economic concepts that are used for explaining and projection of phenomenons in real economic systems. After reviewing the national accounting system, students will familiarise with the following major fields and problems of macroeconomic analysis: production and economic growth, internal equilibrium, foreign trade and external equilibrium, labour market and employment, money market and price stability etc. Seminars are focused on basic techniques (filtration, correlation, regress analysis) which are used for work with empirical data (time series).
