Course objectives
Development of Municipal and Rural Communities: Theory and Practice (TPRM) In the context of historical development, towns perform a lot of functions as the basic element of civic self-government - from economic functions through influence on economic conditions to social functions. They have a number of competences stated within the legislative framework and they can be realised in different ways. Confrontation of theoretical possibilities and practical ways of their realisation, particularly in the field of socio-economic development, is the conclusion of this course. In selected cases, our methods of solution are compared with the experience from abroad. Credit requirements: active participation in seminars and seminar paper. Examination: oral.
