• The Internet. The TCP/IP protocol family. IP address. Types of TCP/IP networks.
• Operating system UNIX basic commands.
• Review and classification of the Internet services.
• Telnet service.
• FTP service. Searching in FTP (Parker, Archie).
• Electronic mail.
• Netfind, Gopher, Veronica, Usenet News services.
• World Wide Web (Netscape, Internet Explorer). Searching in the WWW environment (Altavista, Yahoo, Infoseek).
