Course objectives
The aim of this course is to acquaint students with examples of training units in different age categories, with didactic forms in the training process and the methodological and organizational forms in the training process. Students will be familiarized with football rules and their latest changes and the use of stretching in the training process in football in different age categories.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course the student is able to: - plan and design the training process in U5-U11 youth categories - deliver training unit while respecting safety rules.
Syllabus
  • Theory: Pedagogical aspects of the training process. Methodological and organizational forms in the training process. Individual skills' training. Game combinations. Tactical systems and basic team formations. Football rules and their latest updates. Practice: Methodological and organizational form implementation into the training process. Examples of training units in the U11 categories. Application of rules in practice, football play. The use of stretching in the training process in football.

Theoretical seminars and lectures, practical exercises
Assessment methods
Course requirements: 100% active participation in lessons, passing a written test on coaching theory and football rules, performing a training unit of a given topic in the U11 category. Seminar thesis. Documentation of students' coaching process and progress via their own coaching coaching diary.
