Course objectives
Get to know a wide range of IT. Especially the principle of Internet and its functioning (basic services), together with security, principles of cryptography. Furthermore, to enrich the knowledge and additional functions of MS Office. An integral part is searching for information on the Internet, especially in database retrieval systems. The course also includes information on assessing the quality of scientific work, and finally shows how to create responsive websites.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course the student will be able to:
* Understand Information system and Study and examination regulations of Masaryk University;
* Understand the basic principles of the Internet and its services;
* Create high quality presentation in other program;
* Describe the basic principles of virtualization;
* Prevent security threats in IT;
* Search for scientific articles and literature search
* Create a webpage using the content management system
