Course objectives
The goal is to familiarize students with the content and character of legal Layouts for standards that sport and business of sports is closely related and can be, in accordance with applicable legislation, to use. One of the milestones is to acquaint students with the essence of law as a social phenomenon and its functions, acquire the basic concepts of theory of law and learn how to use specific sources of law in the Czech Republic and legal standards so that they could use, interpret and apply the specific facts and orientation of the legal industry. Students will be acquainted with specific aspects of various types of contractual obligations so that they can assess their suitability for dealing with various situations encountered in business or management. klubu.Předmět should also help students develop important habits for prevention and follow-on business cases in which problems can be expected of a legal nature. Emphasis will be on the question of liability, both civil and criminal.
Syllabus
  • Teaching runs in 4 consultations on the topics: I. Introduction to Law (the system of law, legal relations, legal norms) Sport as a legal and economic category II. Athlete and the right Contractual relations Human rights and sport III. Employment status athletes (in individual sports, in team sports) Commercial Rights athletes (sponsorship, marketing olympionský) IV. Athlete as a subject of disputes in sport Responsibility relationships (civil, criminal)
Teaching methods
Students will be required theoretical homework on the subject to specification, consultation will explain key concepts and procvičením the issue on case studies.
Assessment methods
During the semester, students develop a case study on the subject and casting over the IS. Successfully developed a case study will be a prerequisite for credit and participate in the oral test. Minimum mark of success is 6 points from 10 possible 2 / Successful graduates will be in the exam period for oral log when trying to verify: - Student ability to work with legal standards and legislation - Passive and active specialized terminology - The ability to formulate a legal issue - Discuss the legal aspects of solving the problem
