basic swimming skills at "Perfect swimming", swimming technique backstroke, crawl and breaststroke.

Course objectives
Students will acquire basic theoretical knowledge and practical skills of swimming sport from the point of view of its development, importance for human health and swimming education from the point of view of their future pedagogical practice.
Learning outcomes
After the course the student should:
- understand the structure and layout of swimming sports
- define determination of swimming performance - its factors
- understand and characterize the structure of swimming lessons at schools and private entities
- analyze the basic biomechanical principles of swimming techniques
- be able to apply their knowledge in the methodology of teaching swimming
- define and be able to apply the rules of swimming
- be able to construct the swimming unit according to the level and the number of wards
- assess swimming technique, based on the identification of errors to formulate proposals for their correction

  • Swimming instruction at various levels.
  • Specifics of swimming lessons for children and adults, fear and motivation in learning to swim
  • Determinants swimming performance
  • Swimming Biomechanics
  • Development of swimming methods.
  • Technique of swimming modes
  • Inclusion of teaching footwork in the character of swimming, crawl and butterfly using small fins.
  • Analysis of the swimming stroke character
  • Analysis of the swimming stroke butterfly
  • Analysis crawl swimming stroke
  • Analysis techniques swimming breaststroke
  • Methodology training methods of swimming, water games
  • Rules of swimming, planning teaching units in the water

Teaching methods
- theoretical lectures in the classroom
- practical teaching + practice 2 hours for elementary and pre-school swimming in the pool
- found and passive participation in the hour of swimming with the disabled
Assessment methods
The course is terminated after passing a written examination and submitting 2 messages.
Written exam, a student is awarded based on the succesfull completion of the final written test. The test consists of 55 questions, of which 5 open and 50 closed. Total student may receive 63 points for compliance must get at least 49 points. The student demonstrates how to test theoretical knowledge and ability to apply this knowledge in the field in swimming.
The practical hours (children's swimming) and listening (disabled) prepare a report on the extent of student min. half the A4, indicating their perceptions of teaching conditions, etc.
