Course objectives
The aim of subject Track and Field I is to provide theoretical knowledge and practical skills about:
- track and field training of children and youth, training of women
- planning and organization of competition on primary and secondary school.
Learning outcomes
After completion of the course "Actual forms and methods of athletic disciplines" will be able to:
- reproduce the basic starting points of athletic training of children, youth and adults, the specifics of the training of women
- diagnose performance indicators in athletics;
- reproduced and in practice realize the core rules of Athletics;
- plan and prepare the groundwork for the holding of athletic competitions in primary and secondary schools
Syllabus
  • 1st - Introduction to the study (compensatory requirements, Literature)
  • 2nd - Development of cross-country speed, frequency exercises,
  • plyometric exercises, running supramaximal speed, resistence training 3rd - Use of audio-visual tools for assessing technology
  • Computer evaluation of the training process, running technique - new evidence, correction of errors - quick feedback,
  • 4th - Kids Athletics
  • 5th - Evidence and evaluation of training
  • 6th - The continuing cross-border AE and ANP
  • 7th - Athletic Training for the sport differential
  • 8th - Diagnosis trénovanosti in Athletics
  • 9th - Regeneration and reconditioning forms used in athletic disciplines
  • 10th - Athletic strengthening children, youth and women, alternative methods of strength training in athletics
  • 11th - Managerial, referee and organizing competence in athletic events
  • 12th - 13 The organization, sponsorship and promotion of school athletic events
  • 14th - 15 Implementation and evaluation of athletic competitions

Teaching methods
Teaching will take the form of lectures in the classroom and practical exercises at the athletic stadium and the gym.
Students will organize athletics running competition.
Assessment methods
Credits are awarded based on student successfully passing the final written test and the organization of athletic competition.
The test consists of 10 closed questions (3 variants answer to one question) rated 10 points.
The successful completion is necessary to get at least 7 points.
