Course objectives
The aim of the course is to develop students' theoretical abilities in the fields of olympism and in the history of selected non-traditional sports.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student will be able to:
- reproduce knowledge from selected Olympics chapters
- explain the context of the historical development of non-traditional sports
- will know the history and rules of selected non-traditional sports
- apply knowledge from history to current practice
- summarize general knowledge and present results

  • History and present of the Olympic movement in the Czech Republic and the world
