Course objectives
Goal of the course is to introduce specifics of security and strategic studies, history of this discipline, basic approaches and basic aspects of related disciplines.
Learning outcomes
Students should be able to understand the specific character of the security and strategic studies and to acquire their basic scienttific standards, terminology, approaches and history of the field.

Assessment methods
Students will receive a final letter grade (A-F) for the semester based on the following components: max. 12 points in term written test, max. 12 points written paper and max. 36 points final written exam. Additionally they can won 6 points from optional presentation. Grading: A: 56–and more points; B: 51–55 points;C: 46–50 points; D: 41–45 points; E: 36–40 points; F: 35 and less points
