Course objectives
The course is intended to further improve the knowledge of students gained in the European Integration course. At the end of the course students should be able to: have deeper understanding of the impacts of the process of European integration on the key domestic actors in the member states of the EU; basically operate with the theoretical concept of Europeanization; explain the changes of selected political actors; interpret the changes of relations among political actors, also in comparative perspective.

Teaching methods
The course consists of lectures and 4 seminars. Part of the workload is as well writing of two position papers (circa 4 pages long) and preparing group presentations. Group projects are intended to improve team building and presentation and comparative skills. Reading: 65 pages in Czech, 240 pages in English. The active participation of students during the course is required.
Assessment methods
During semester: Two position papers, group presentation. Obligatory participation in 4 seminars (including group presentations). Final exam: Participation in oral exam is conditioned by accepting two position papers and one group presentation.
