Course objectives
The goal of the course is to provide basic information on characteristic features of political system of the Czech Lands between 1848 - 2000. Periods of genesis of political system are analyzed chronilogicaly with stress on identification of basic characteristic attributes of system. Structural framework of the course is formed by Czech (Czechoslovak) constitutional history including actual state, i. e. Constitution of the Czech Republic from December 1992 and its changes.

The First Republic - institutional and content scheme of the system 4. The First Republic - party system 5. Czech transitions: Second Republic, Protectorate Bohemia and Moravia, exile 6. Political system of the Czech Lands between 1948 - 1989 7. Constitutional changes in ČSFR between 1989-92 8. Constitutional values of the Czech Republic 9. Assessment methods (in Czech)
Požadavky k zakončení kursu: - předložení semestrální práce ve striktním rozsahu 2500-3000 slov (včetně poznámkového aparátu a seznamu literatury) dle publikačních standardů na téma adekvátní problematice kursu v termínu do 20. května 2002 (na později odevzdané práce nebude brán ohled a student nebude v kursu klasifikován). Hodnocení bude oznámeno vždy do týdne po odevzdání práce, nejpozději pak 27. května 2002 - úspěšné složení písemného zkouškového testu (odpřednášená témata plus zadaná literatura)
