Course objectives
This course concentrates upon issues of contemporary political theory. Special attention will be paid to developments in theories of political systems and to methodology of comparative political research.

  • 1.-2. Political Theory and Comparative Politics; 3.-4. Historical Institutionalism; 5.-6. Political Systems Theory; 7.-8. Democracy and Political Parties: A Political Theory View; 9.-10. Policy Analysis; 11.-12. Concept of political cleavages and Its Application in Central-East European Context.

Výuka kombinuje formu přednášek, seminářů, individuálních a kolektivních konzultací. Zkouška probíhá písemnou formu a jejím předmětem je jak látka probraná v přednáškách a seminářích, tak látka obsažená v zadané literatuře.
