Course objectives
At the end of the course the students will be able to identify the main problems of interest groups functioning in the Czech Republic. Furthermore, the students will be able to compare various interest groups among themselves, identify their funding sources, and most importantly, prepare a grant application.

Assessment methods
Student teams are expected to write model grant/subsidy applications (evaluation: up to 40 points). In addition to this team work each student is expected to write a position paper on the work progress of his/her team (up to 20 points). The minimum number of points to pass the course is 36.
