Course objectives
The course builds on the knowledge from the bachelor degree and improves the skills and abilities of students in quantitative insight to political science. Students will learn about tools and techniques which lead to more sophisticated outcomes.
Syllabus
  • 1. Introduction, basic features of quantitative methods, terminology. 2. Basic principles. 3. Background of quantitative insights - software and data. 4. Descriptive statistics. 5. Crosstabs. 6. Correlation. 7. ANOVA. 8. Factor analysis. 9. Cluster analysis. 10. Causality - regression. 11. Causality - logistic regression.
