Course objectives
The aim of the course is the development of students' publication skills. Students are expected to use the output of the course as a part of their dissertation. However, this is not required.
Learning outcomes
After the completion the course, students will be able to:
- consider and incorporate reviewers comments
- respond to reviewers comments through the means of a cover letter

  • 3. Submission of the manuscript for review

Teaching methods
Mentoring and consultation with a supervisor and, possibly, with other experts.
Assessment methods
The publication can be accepted if
- the student is the first or only author of the publication or the student has a fundamental share on the publication
- the manuscript has been accepted for review in a peer reviewed journal (alternatively, the manuscript has been considered for publication as a chapter in a book published with a prestigious international publisher)
Acceptance of the output lies within the authority of the student's supervisor.
