Course objectives
The aim of the workshop is to make the students familiar in a detailed way with the current Conception of information about European affairs in the Czech Republic in 2013, which was issued by the Czech government. During the workshop students will learn about the positions of different actors concerning this conception, namely the position of the representative of the Government, NGOs, media and PR community, who will act as tutors of each student group. On the basis of the workshop the students, under the guidance of the tutors, will be able to identify problematic issues of the conception and each group of the students will be able to develop a paper containing their own suggestions for improvement of the conception or maintenance of functioning elements. This papers will then be presented by the students who will be able to confront the outputs with the suggestions of other groups in the final discussion.
Syllabus
  • A workshop will be held on November 7, 2013 Workshop is preceded with the preparation of students on the basis of study materials. The workshop program: 10:00 Opening Lecturers will briefly introduce and outline their viewpoints on the topic 10:30 Students are divided into groups led by tutors and will be working in groups 12:00 Coffee + independent work of student groups on the results of the workshop 13:30 Assembly of all students and lecturers, the presentation of the results and discussion about the results 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Conclusion of the workshop
