Course objectives
Students get overview about environmental education (EE) in the Czech Republic. The course focuses on educational goals, methods and topics and EE institutions. It does not deal with the individual EE topics. The course consists of six seminars, individual visit of an EE program and its assessment and two-days excursion. At the end of the course students should have insight into EE provision and institutions in the Czech Republic. They shall be able to create an EE program or project.

  • 1 - 21/02 Introduction to environmental education (EE) EE of pre-school kids 2 - 21/03 Environmental education at primary and secondary schools 3 - 04/04 Extra-curricular EE, Long-term EE projects 29/03-19/04 - assessment of an EE program 4 - 18/04 EE of adults, EE at institutions, interpretation as a form of EE 5- 02/05 Assignments - presentation and marking 10/05-11/05 (the term may change) Excursion - dates will be specified
