Course objectives
The aim of this course is to provide an understanding of the legal system and private law, where the legal status of individuals is primarily anchored in civil law. Students will also acquire basic knowledge of the structure of the Civil Code, particularly its general provisions. They will become familiar with and comprehend fundamental legal principles essential for grasping an individual's legal position as the foundation of legal relationships. The curriculum includes the characterization of the concept of a person in the legal sense and its two forms: natural persons and legal entities. This encompasses the basic legal capacities of natural and legal persons, as well as the concepts and typologies of legal entities. Special attention will be devoted to the legal status of individuals as subjects of various typical legal relationships in private law. Furthermore, students will acquaint themselves with the issues related to things in the legal sense, which constitute an integral part of most legal relationships involving individuals. They will also explore the legal facts that serve as the basis for the emergence of rights and obligations for individuals. Within the context of these legal facts, students will particularly focus on the area of legal actions by individuals and the timing in which legal relationships between individuals are realized.
Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to: Gain a deeper understanding of the legal system and comprehend the position of individuals within the realm of private law. They will also acquire the ability to navigate effectively through private law regulations, particularly in the Civil Code. Understand the fundamental legal concepts that shape the legal status of individuals. Lastly, they will be capable of applying their acquired knowledge in practical situations, enabling them to effectively address legal issues and ensure the consistency of legal actions within the framework of private law.

Teaching methods
The teaching takes place in the form of lectures and seminars. During lectures, students are provided with a basic orientation in the subject, while seminars deepen and reinforce their knowledge. It is expected that students will dedicate approximately 6 hours every two weeks to prepare for the seminars. Self-study is an important method throughout the semester, including preparation for the exam, with an estimated workload of 40 hours.
Assessment methods
The exam consists of a written and an oral part. The written part consists of a test containing 10 questions. Each question has 4 answer options, of which at least 1 is correct. The scoring for the test will be announced during the semester. The passing threshold for the test is 60%. During the written exam, students are allowed to use legal texts without annotations. Successful students will proceed to the oral part of the exam after the written test. In the oral part, a short discussion will take place on a randomly selected topic from the question areas.

Course objectives
Main objectives of the course is the study of the persons in the juridical sense, i.e. the natural and legal persons as the basis of the legal relationships. The contents of the course is the notion of person in the juridical sense and both its kinds, i.e. natural and legal person, including persons legal capacity and persons typology. Special attention is given to the legal position of the particular types of persons as the party of particular types of Civil Law relationships. At the end of the course, the student should be able to: - understand and explain the general characteristic of natural and legal persons, - apply the legal regulation of natural and legal persons to his practice, - operate the system position of the persons in the wider system of social relations.
Learning outcomes
The students will be capable, after the cours:
- to identify and characterize the persons in juridical sense in different juridical situations;
- to practically work with understanding upon the essential juridical concept of both physical and legal persons;
- to distinguish different types of legal persons during the current practical activities;
- to work with the notion of person in the juridical sense in the frame of different branches of private law.

Teaching methods
The teaching is realised in the form of conferences and seminaries. The first form have to given to the students elementary knowledge about the discipline, second form should to aprofond and accept the issues of the discipline. The important form is self-study.
Assessment methods
The exam has a written and oral part. Written part consists in a study on the professional theme according to students choice latest to 30.4., according to the Deans Directive. Oral part consists in defence of written study and in presentation of knowledges of the contents of the course with regard to the theme of written study.

Course objectives
Main objectives of the course is the study of the persons in the juridical sense, i.e. the natural and legal persons as the basis of the legal relationships. The contents of the course is the notion of person in the juridical sense and both its kinds, i.e. natural and legal person, including persons legal capacity and persons typology. Special attention is given to the legal position of the particular types of persons as the party of particular types of Civil Law relationships. At the end of the course, the student should be able to: - understand and explain the general characteristic of natural and legal persons, - apply the legal regulation of natural and legal persons to his practice, - operate the system position of the persons in the wider system of social relations.
Learning outcomes
The students will be capable, after the cours:
- to identify and characterize the persons in juridical sense in different juridical situations;
- to practically work with understanding upon the essential juridical concept of both physical and legal persons;
- to distinguish different types of legal persons during the current practical activities;
- to work with the notion of person in the juridical sense in the frame of different branches of private law.

Course objectives
Main objectives of the course is the study of the persons in the juridical sense, i.e. the natural and legal persons as the basis of the legal relationships. The contents of the course is the notion of person in the juridical sense and both its kinds, i.e. natural and legal person, including persons legal capacity and persons typology. Special attention is given to the legal position of the particular types of persons as the party of particular types of Civil Law relationships. At the end of the course, the student should be able to: - understand and explain the general characteristic of natural and legal persons, - apply the legal regulation of natural and legal persons to his practice, - operate the system position of the persons in the wider system of social relations.
Learning outcomes
The students will be capable, after the cours:

Course objectives
Main objectives of the course is the study of the persons in the juridical sense, i.e. the natural and legal persons as the basis of the legal relationships. The contents of the course is the notion of person in the juridical sense and both its kinds, i.e. natural and legal person, including persons legal capacity and persons typology. Special attention is given to the legal position of the particular types of persons as the party of particular types of Civil Law relationships. At the end of the course, the student should be able to: - understand and explain the general characteristic of natural and legal persons, - apply the legal regulation of natural and legal persons to his practice, - operate the system position of the persons in the wider system of social relations.
Learning outcomes
The students will be capable, after the cours:
- to identify and characterize the persons in juridical sense in different juridical situations;
- to practically work with understanding upon the essential juridical concept of both physical and legal persons;
- to distinguish different types of legal persons during the current practical activities;
- to work with the notion of person in the juridical sense in the frame of different branches of private law.

Course objectives
Main objectives of the course is the study of the persons in the juridical sense, i.e. the natural and legal persons as the basis of the legal relationships. The contents of the course is the notion of person in the juridical sense and both its kinds, i.e. natural and legal person, including persons legal capacity and persons typology. Special attention is given to the legal position of the particular types of persons as the party of particular types of Civil Law relationships. At the end of the course, the student should be able to: - understand and explain the general characteristic of natural and legal persons, - apply the legal regulation of natural and legal persons to his practice, - operate the system position of the persons in the wider system of social relations.

The teaching is realised in the form of conferences and seminaries. The first form have to given to the students elementary knowledge about the discipline, second form should to aprofond and accept the issues of the discipline. The important form is self-study.

Course objectives
Main objectives of the course is the study of the persons in the juridical sense, i.e. the natural and legal persons as the basis of the legal relationships. The contents of the course is the notion of person in the juridical sense and both its kinds, i.e. natural and legal person, including persons legal capacity and persons typology. Special attention is given to the legal position of the particular types of persons as the party of particular types of Civil Law relationships. At the end of the course, the student should be able to: - understand and explain the general characteristic of natural and legal persons, - apply the legal regulation of natural and legal persons to his practice, - operate the system position of the persons in the wider system of social relations.

Cílem předmětu je studium osoby v právním smyslu jako základu právních vztahů. Obsahem výuky je charakteristika pojmu osoba v právním smyslu a jejích dvou podob, tj. osoby fyzické a osoby právnické, včetně základních právních způsobilostí osob fyzických a právnických, koncepce a typologie osob právnických. Samostatná pozornost je věnována právnímu postavení osob v právním smyslu jako subjektů jednotlivých typových právních vztahů v soukromém právu.

Zkouška má písemnou a ústní část. Písemnou část zkoušky představuje zpracování odborné práce na zvolené téma (odbornou prací na zvolené téma, sepsanou v rozsahu 10 - 15 normostran v souladu s publikovanou směrnicí děkana Právnické fakulty MU v Brně, se ověřuje schopnost studenta formulovat ucelený odborný text, pracovat s odbornou literaturou, jakož i aplikovat získané vědomosti). Téma odborné práce je nutné zvolit (v IS MU) nejpozději do 30. 4. Ústní část zkoušky představuje obhajoba zpracované odborné práce a prezentace znalostí jednotlivých právních odvětví vyučovaných v rámci předmětu k dotazům zkoušejícího kladeným s ohledem na zvolené téma odborné práce.
