Course objectives
The absolvent of the lessons will know the information of the relation between commercial and civil law regulation, sources and rules of commercial law, general questions including conclusion of nominal as well as innominal contracts. Student gains the information on alternatives of dispute resolving by court or other institutes is provided in this course. Concluding of arbitration clauses and arbitration agreements and their relation to the rest of the contract are the students able to covered. The student will be able to taught how to prevent most frequent kinds of disputes. In this context student will be able to examine the case studies.

  • Commercial obligations general questions. Obligations and their division. Sources and rules of commercial law – commercial usances, business terms, rules of interpretation. Process of contractation. Nominal contract types. Innominal contracts. Institutes for resolving of disputes in commercial relationships. Arbitration clauses. Arbitration agreements. Specialties of commercial law disputes. Most frequent commercial law disputes. Case studies.

Oral exam. The student must answer correctly the all the posed questions about the commercial contracts and must be able to characterize individual contractual types.
