Course objectives
The course focuses on the subjects of Roman law. It also focuses on family law including the social and religious aspects, the aspect of property and others.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students will be able to;
Characterize the subjects of Roman law;
Explain the development of Roman family in the historical context;
Interpret the differences between the family of civil law and family of the law of magistrates;
Describe the importance of a family from the social and legal perspective, including the perspective of property;
