Course objectives
Main objectives can be summarized as to deepen the set of theoretical knowledge on the legal theoretical and legal philosophical works of outstanding authors and to develop abilities to master abstract legal concepts and general legal conceptions.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able: - to interpret the basic ideas of the given legal theoretical work; - characterize the legal philosophical backgrounds of the author's work; - learn terminology of the author's work - argue with the opinions of the author and to overall review the work.
Syllabus
  • Study and analysis of the book by Ota Weinberger: Filosofie, právo, morálka. Discussion about individual parts of the book. Overall evaluation of the book and its contribution.
