Course objectives
At the end of the course students should:
known basics of typography,
be able to use advanced tools of text procesors (MS Word 2007),
be able to properly cite,
be able to to write legal text,
be able to use MS Powerpoint to create presentations,
known what is MS Excel for,
be able to to present result of their work and reduce a logical methods at study and at creative work.

  • Format of a page and and a parapraph
  • Tabelars, styles, table of contents
  • Multicolumn xxxxx, images, index, list of images, typography
  • Cross reference, sections, footnotes
  • Images, tables, text fields
  • How to write a scientical text. Quoting
  • Zásady tvorby odborného textu, výklad právních případů
  • Logické aspekty práce s odborným textem a tvorby odborného textu
  • Excel, basics of formating, expressions and creating of charts
  • Presentations, simple animations, interactive prezentations
  • Ústní prezentace odborného textu (stavba řečnického projevu, nedostatky profesního stylu, řečnické zlozvyky a řečnický takt, boj proti trémě

Assessment methods
compulsory attendence, test of practical knowledges (formating of a text), written thesis. Student must receive at least 60 per cent from both test anf the thesis to complete the course.
