Course objectives
The main objectives can be summarized as follows: to be introduced to legal French to learn specific features of the French administrative and legal system to get new knowledge and new communicative competences and oral skills, in particular understanding both written and spoken texts
Syllabus
  • Topics for exploring and working with the texts and communicating professional issues relating to the following fields: Administrative Organisation in France, Executive and Legislative Bodies, Elections, Budget and Taxes, European Union, Basic Concepts in Law and in Civil Law. Lexis and grammar of the language for specific purposes.

Assessment methods
The course is taught in the form of seminars. In is ended by a credit awarded on the basis of a test (70%)and active participation in classes (80%).
