Kromě dobré znalosti anglického jazyka a schopnosti kriticky přemýšlet nejsou ke studiu předmětu vyžadovány žádné další předběžné znalosti či dovednosti.

Cíle předmětu

Cílem předmětu je přiblížit a diskutovat aktuální problémy práva, jimiž se zabývá angloamerická a evropská kritická právní teorie. Za užití vybraných současných publikací z oboru critical legal studies budou diskutovány aktuální otázky vývoje a kontextu působení práva ve společnosti jako např. současné kulturní a společenské konflikty, otázky gender a race studies, důsledky vývoje a aplikace nových technologií apod. Studenti budou mít možnost zvolit si některé z aktuálních problémových témat, které pak následně zpracují ve formě seminární práce. Předmět je určen především studentům magisterského studia oboru právo, bude ale přístupný i studentům jiných humanitních oborů.

• - úvod metoda, přehled škol, literatura, zadání seminárních prací - právo, stát, násilí - humanismus, solidarita, spravedlnost - diskuse nad texty - kritická interpretace pozitivního práva speciální techniky - právo a speciální atributy subjektu - rasa, gender, postkoloniální situace - technologie a právo internet, genetika,... - diskuse nad texty - kritická interpretace islámského práva vč. demonstrace - historie, čas, konflikt - poststrukturalismus v právu - diskuse nad texty

Metody hodnocení

Předmět bude ukončen kolokviem nad seminárními pracemi.
