- Course objectives
- The aim of this course is to expand the current teaching at PrF MU by a subject strengthening the ability of students to critically approach the method of creating legal theater from real court proceedings, improve their rhetorical and presentation skills by playing theater and improve legal awareness in the general public by presenting the final production with subsequent discussion of the creators of the production and the audience.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course, the student will be able to:
- summarize important aspects of the relationship between law and theater;
- find and interpret legal motives in plays;
- analyze the meaning of the legal motive within a specific game;
- use the ability of critical thinking in dramaturgical changes of dramatic and non-dramatic texts;
- use the skills of legal rhetoric in presenting the production to the audience;
- explain the legal problem in a simplified form to the general public. - Syllabus

- Teaching methods
- The teaching itself will consist of 12 lectures and 12 seminars, of which the lectures will gradually introduce all the necessary theoretical aspects of doing legal theatre (including the ability to analyze important games connecting law and theater) and in the seminars students will use this knowledge in practice in preparing a legal theatre production.
