Course objectives
Students will know theoretical and practical knowledge of the field of the Land Registry at the end of this course. They will be able to work with the sources of law of the Land Registry. Based on the understanding of the fundamentals of the Land Registry, students will be able to explain its functions and principles of its guidance. They will focus on all forms of land registration, both theoretical and practical aspects. Students will be able to formulate the basic legal submissions addressed to the Land Registry Office. They will be able to work with the case law and use it for specific situations. Based on this knowledge, students will be able to propose and justify the solution of specific case studies.
Syllabus
  • Land Registry as a public list. Basic principles of the development of the Land Registry. The importance of recodification of private law for the registration of rights in the Land Registry and their protection. The principles of guidance of the Land registry. Concept, function, object, subject and content of the Land Registry. Administration in the Land Registry. Providing data from the Land Registry. Responsibilities of owners and other beneficiaries in relation to the Land Registry. Municipalities and public authorities in relation to the Land Registry. Writes of rights and other data to the Land Registry – the general background. Deposit, record a note in the Land Registry and their deleting. Writing of other data in the Land Registry. Fixed a bug in the Land Registry. Renewal of cadastral documents. Land consolidation and the Land Registry. Geometric plan. The Land Registry in terms of Land Registry Office. The Land Registry from the perspective of a notary. The Land Registry in the case law (civil justice, administrative justice, constitutional justice).

Colloquium: elaboration of the project and its defense by oral distance form through the application MS Teams or ev. oral full-time form.
