Course objectives
The main objectives can be summarized as follows: to be introduced to legal French to learn specific features of the French administrative and legal system to get new knowledge and new communicative competences and oral skills, in particular understanding both written and spoken texts
Syllabus
  • Exploring and working with the texts relating to the following fields: Constitutional Systems in French-Speaking Countries,International organisation - the United Nations, European Co-operation, Human Rights - History and Current Situation, Refugee Law, Refugee Status in France, Mechanism for Human Rights Protection, Judicature of the European Court of Human Rights. Topics for examination: Employment Law and Social Security Law, Business Law, Contract, Environmental Law, the United Nations Organisation, European Co-operation, European Law, Human Rights, Refugee Law, Constitutional System in Switzerland, Constitutional System in Belgium.
