MVV14K Spanish I
This course is primarily for students from the Faculty of Law. Previous knowledge from secondary school is required, or B1 level (based on CEFR).

Course objectives
The course is focused on academic skills and professional language. During the course all language skills will be practised (listening, reading comprehension, oral and written presentations). Other material is used - authentic recordings and texts, excercises. See Literature.
Syllabus
  • 1.What is Law?/Sources of law. Revision of pronouns.
  • 2.Notes of Spanish Law. Revision of past tenses - imperfect.
  • 3.Division of Law. Revision of past tenses - Indefinite.
  • 4.Studies of law. Use of past tenses: Imperfect/Indefinite.
  • 5.Performing Law. Revision of past tenses - Past-perfect.
  • 6.Law and Constitution. Sequence of tenses (Indicative) - part 1.
  • 7.Force of law. Sequence of tenses (Indicative) - part 2.
  • 8.Organization of Spanish legal system . Affirmative imperative.
  • 9.Procedure law. Negative imperative.
  • 10.Legal actions. Introduction to the subjunctive. (used after the words quizás, tal vez, ojalá).
