Cíle předmětu
At the end of the course students should be able to:
• understand and explain key legal concepts in European patent law;
• work with information on patent applications and patent infringement cases;
• make reasoned decisions about patentability, infringement and defences;
• make deductions based on acquired knowledge of the European Patent Convention;
• interpret legal decisions in patent law

The aim of the course is to provide for master-degree students of the Masaryk University information about the patent protection. Students will obtain basic overview of the patent protection and then the attention will be paid to the European patent protection, patent infringement litigation and developments in the field of the European Union patent protection within the framework of the enhanced cooperation.
