Cíle předmětu
The course will cover the basic understanding of financial markets and institutions. Students will learn the roll of each financial market (equity, bonds, currencies, money market, and derivatives) and how it is connected with the economy. In the second part of the course students will learn about the most important institutions which are present in each market (banks, funds, individual investors, insurance companies, regulators, exchanges). Through the course students will get familiarized with the economic importance of the legal framework used for regulation of each market and market participant. Course is useful for students which are interested in financial law and later in their career wish to work in a regulatory institution or a financial institution.

• Understand different financial markets
• Understand the roll of each market participant
• Interpret roll of regulation in total financial system
• Evaluate the quality of financial stability.
