Cíle předmětu
The objective of the course is to provide students with an introductory understanding of the philosophy of human rights. Students are expected to acquire foundational knowledge in this field.
Výstupy z učení
At the end of the course, students should be able to:
- Explain the difference between political and naturalistic conceptions of human rights;
- Explain the basic argument supporting the international human rights system, as well as the criticism of it;
- Articulate their own perspectives on the human right to democracy.

The course will consist of lectures, but active interaction between students and the teacher, as well as among students, is planned.
