Course objectives
The aim of practicals is to introduce students into application possibilities of modern methodologies in medicine (ECG, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, dopplerometry, molecular biology methodology, animal experiments and statistical evaluation of experimental data), specifically focused on experimental profile of Department of Pathophysiology-genetic background of complex diseases.

  • 20.2.2012, 27.2.2012 Pathophysioogy as a scientiphic discipline. principles and ethic rules for experimental work on animals. Evaluation of experimental data, basic of statistics (dr. Masařík, dr. Jurajda).
  • 5.3.2012, 12.3.2012 Arhythmology (seminar). Experimental renal failure-ECG manifestation of hyperkalemia (Dr. Máchal, Dr. Jurajda)
  • 19.3.2012, 26.3.2012 Atherosclerosis (seminar). Experimental atherosclerosis - evaluation of blood vessel remodelling (Dr. Máchal)
