Course objectives
The goal of clinical internships is the ability to apply the nursing process to patients in the dermatology department. Students will be able to: define the specifics of the nursing process in the dermatovenerological department, identify the needs of the patients in the dermatovenerological department, formulate the nursing problems of the patients in the dermatovenerological department and on the basis of them to formulate nursing diagnoses, establish a plan of nursing care of patients in the dermatovenerological department, to evaluate the efficiency of nursing care and nursing interventions, to evaluate the nursing care plan for patients in the dermatological department, to use nursing and medical documentation and to record changes in the status of patients according to the competencies of the students.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to:
to understand the specifics and organization of care in dermatovenerology
to understand basic diagnoses in dermatovenerology and their clinical manifestations
to identify the needs of the patient with dermatovenerological disease
provide nursing care to a patient with a dermatovenerological disorder.
