Course objectives
The aim of clinical internships is the ability to apply the nursing process to patients in neurological wards.
Students will be able to: define the specifics of the nursing process at the neurological department, identify the needs of the patients, formulate the nursing problems of the patients, and formulate nursing diagnoses, establish nursing care plan, assess the effectiveness of nursing care and nursing interventions, evaluate the nursing care plan, use nursing and health care documentation and recording changes in the status of patients according to the competencies of the students.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to:
understand the specifics and organization of care in neurology
to understand the basic diagnoses in neurology and their clinical manifestations
to identify the needs of a patient with a neurological disorder
provide nursing care to a patient with a neurological disorder.
