Course objectives
The Practical nursing training, it integrates knowledge of nursing theoretical and practical subjects, the basic spheres of science, social and behavioral science and communication. The subject offers cavity and fixation gained specialized nursing skills and knowledge. The subject,it contents individual practical trainig on the units (wards) of the elected health care institution, the social care institution and the other health care institutions. - Practical training, appropriation and fixation of the special nursing process activities in the nature nursing practice. - The nursing care implementation based on the bio-psycho-social-spiritual demands and patient’s problems, the nursing diagnosis determination goes from NANDA taxonomy, aims, activities planning, and nursing diagnosis evaluation. - The patient education about life style changes based on self knowledge and skills. - To attend to quality of the all activities related to nursing care. - The nursing profesional qualities formation - The application of nursing theoretical knowledge has got by studium on solving of the specific problems health care. - Creative implementation to the health care problems solving - bachelor’s leasing labor. Particular aims of the tutition - at the end of the course students should be able: - to describe and define the specifity of the nursing process at geriatric department - to decribe the process of the care at the geriatric care - to name individually and repeat the process of identification of the patients needs at the geriatric department - to explain the determiners of the specific approach to the ill elderly patients - to formulate basic nursing problems of the patients at the geriatrics - to evaluate the effectivity of nursing interventions by the patients at geriatric unit - to use nursing and health documentation of the patients and report changes of the health status of the patients on the basis of the legislation and competency of students
Syllabus
  • The special nursing practical training at the 1st semester goes from conceptual model of the main health determinants World Health Organization, it’s oriented to the health support and illness origin prevention – primal health care, practise, nursing diagnostic and therapeutic appropriation. Students are going to apprise of primal health care structure and various sorts of health care institution. The students will be educated to evaluate environment (material and social) in which are people living, health risks. Apprising of sorts of illness which are occur, with a want of the preventive acquisition and with the individual or group health care education metods. Workplace: Health constitution, GP (general practitioner) medical attendance, children and teenager practitioner, pensioner’s homes. The Internal department, Geriatrics and Practical Medicine – unit A, B, C.
