Course objectives
Physical therapy introduces students of physiotherapy to natural and artificial physical sources. There are physical factors like the effect of warm and could temperature, sun-irradiations, mechanical factors, lasser therapy, ultrasound therapy, magnetic therapy, balneotherapy, and others.
Syllabus
  • Laser, basic terms, biological effect
  • Laser therapy in physiatry, indication and contraindication
  • Colours, its physiological effects and possibilities of therapeutical use
  • Electrotherapy, basic terms.
  • Passage of electric current through live tissue
  • Galvanic current, galvanotherapy, indication and contraindication
  • Iontophoresis
  • DD currents, its taxonomy and effects
  • DD currents, its indication and ways of application
  • Interferential currents, aplication, effects and indication
