- Nursing in Ophthalmology - Practical training is a practical subject that integrates knowledge from the theory and practice of nursing, basic science disciplines, natural, social and behavioral sciences. The subject follows up on the previous nursing practice and provides for consolidation and deepening of nursing knowledge and skills. The content of the subject is a separate practical activity in the form of clinical internships in the ophthalmic medicine. The goal of clinical internships is the ability to apply the nursing process to patients with ophthalmic disease.
Student will be able to: define the specifics of the nursing process in the eye department, identify the needs of the patients, formulate the nursing problems of the patients, and formulate nursing diagnoses, define the nursing care plan, evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care and nursing interventions, evaluate the nursing care plan, documentation and recording changes in the status of patients according to the competencies of the students. - Learning outcomes

- The goal of clinical internships is the ability to apply the nursing process to patients in the ophthalmology department.
Students will be able to: define the specifics of the nursing process in the eye department, identify the needs of the patients, formulate the nursing problems of the patients, and formulate nursing diagnoses, define the nursing care plan, evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care and nursing interventions, evaluate the nursing care plan, documentation and recording changes in the status of patients according to the competencies of the students. - Syllabus
