Course objectives
Understand the concept of community and its main functions • Understand the importance of healthy social and natural environment for the health of the person • Become familiar with the development of health and social services under the community care about the health of individuals and of the various population groups
Learning outcomes
After completing the course the student will be: - Understand the concept of community and its main features - Knows and applies the importance of a healthy social and natural environment for human health - Familiar with the development of health and social services under the community care about the health of individuals and of individual population groups
Syllabus
  • •Practical exercises: ( 7 hrs) Care of the family (alcoholism, violence, disabled, child, psychiatric illness, handicap, chronic illness, lack of funds for housing and food, etc). The care of women and mothers. The care of infants and children of preschool age. Care for school age children. Care of the adolescent. Care for adults of working age. Care of the chronically ill and the elderly. Care of the disabled. Nursing documentation in the DP. Cooperation with the family. Meeting the needs of family members.
